Monday Meanders

Monday Meanders is an ongoing group that meets once a month on a Monday morning exploring different locations in the Upper Tweed Valley. It is time to slow down, connect and spend some restorative time in nature.

Each session starts with a welcome and few simple exercises to help us arrive in the present moment. We then set off on a short, gentle guided walk to a beautiful natural location where we spend the rest of the morning. Enroute we forage for ingredients for morning tea, learning what is in season and how to identify it.

Once we have arrived at our session location we experience nature through different simple activities such as art, movement, song or simple observation to support us to slow down and connect deeper to ourselves and the natural world. Over foraged herbal tea and delicious shared snacks there is time to share and reflect.

It is a morning of calm and connection and we all go home feeling calmer, more grounded and refreshed.
