Wild Swim and Forage Walks

Immerse yourself in the Tweed Valley with a guided wild river swim and forage walk

Put down modern life for a while and take a journey on the wild side.

Be guided both on the land and in the water through the magic and beauty of the Tweed Valley, rich in history and stories. You’ll meet some of Scotland’s wild riverside plants and learn which are good to forage and collect enough for a wild tea. At the river you will be guided safely into the water for a swim, playing with our clean waters and the flow and magic of this place. With your very own unique freshly foraged tea made over a kelly kettle fire you’ll warm up on the river bank with delicious locally made cake.

These are available as private trips at £150 for up to 3 people, additional participants £60pp, max 8. Just click on the image below. These trips can also be adapted to suit your wishes to include longer walks, no swim, do more foraging or adding in more relaxing activities such as time in hammocks. To adapt a trip please get in contact.

The Traquair and Peebles trips are both accessible from the X62 bus.

Currently only the Traquair House and Peebles trips are available for booking, Drumelzier is currently in development.
