Forage, Walk, Swim at Traquair House

Come to the historical grandeur of Traquair House in the Tweed Valley for a relaxing half day immersing yourself in nature on the land and in the water. Meeting at the car park we will go on a gentle foraging walk through the beautiful grounds meeting and gathering some of the edible plants for a wild tea and learning about the history of the area.

Down at the river we will share a gorgeous guided wild swim in a beautiful pool in the River Tweed warming up after with homemade cake and your wild foraged tea, water heated with a kelly kettle and brewed from the plants that you passed and collected on your way.

This is a morning of history, nature and maybe a chance to meet a bit of your wilder self. However you arrive you will leave feeling relaxed and nourished by nature.

Entry to Traquair House grounds is not included in the activity price and can be paid on arrival, this allows you to spend the rest of the day exploring. There is also a great cafe on site.
